About the Class:
Sexy Sweat is a dance based cardio class designed to provide empowerment and confidence as well as toned muscles and improved stamina. This class is for non-dancers and dancers alike. If you miss dropping it low on a dance floor, or are simply trying to work on your fitness goals, this class is for you, you sexy beast!
Chelsea began her professional dance career at 17 when she joined Moving People Dance Company. She attended Loyola Marymount University, where she studied with some of the top choreographers in the industry. Chelsea earned a BA in Dance and performed professionally in Los Angeles for 5 years. She was a soloist with a modern dance company, taught ballet and jazz, and appeared in multiple commercial projects. After the pandemic changed everything, Chelsea created Sexy Sweat to use her dance background to help people reach their fitness goals, feel confident in their own skin, and create a sense of community.
Sexy Sweat strengthens all aspects of your wellbeing. The high intensity cardio burns a ton of calories and increases your stamina. Targeting specific muscles groups through dance creates strength and the lean, toned dancer physique. Learning choreography has been proven to be the best exercise for the brain because it not only requires focus and memory, but also calls on the mind body connection. On top of the physical benefits, this class creates a community of acceptance and love where people feel safe to tap into their sexy side. Together, we empower each other to own our bodies and gain more self confidence!
